Church Leadership
Reformed Churches are governed by 3 distinct offices: The Pastor (or Minister), the Elders, and the Deacons. See below for a description of these offices.
The Pastor is responsible for preaching the Word of the Lord each Sunday. The pastor is often known as a "Teaching" Elder, as he brings the Word to the people.

The Elders are responsible for Shepherding the flock of the congregation. They are directly responsible for the spiritual oversight of the church.
|
The Deacons are responsible for the ministry of mercy in the church. They collect and distribute the Lord's offerings as well as making sure the members of the church are taken care of.
